I got a job.
Not wanting to repeat what happened after 4 summers as an intern at the nuclear power plant I decided to take advantage of a job offer at the Flexible Display Center where I am completing my degree. The job was for a new electronics test engineer. Since I had already done or learned about more than half of the things described for the job I sent in my resume. Long story short I got the job despite not being formally trained in electrical engineering :-) It was a good feeling to know that I now had a solid footing within the display center even after I complete my degree, unlike what happened after I completed my degree andfinal degree at the nuclear power plant. I'm excited to be working with test equipment, software development, and thinking about semiconductor physics. I'm also happy that I'll still be doing a few things in process development in order to complete my degree. I think all the work will allow me to be a well rounded display engineer in the end.
